Thursday Lunchtime Eucharist
Take some time to reflect over your lunchbreak with our lunchtime Eucharist. This short service takes place up by the altar and allows some time for peace in the middle of a busy week.
Our community is many things - you are welcome to be a part of it!
It is open.
Questions are encouraged and cherished, but you may not find absolute answers.
It is a space of respect and tolerance.
We encourage everyone to consider the people around them , the people they meet - how they might be similar or different to themselves. At our services and meetings, we ask everyone to think about when to listen and when to speak, when to be silent and when to be loud.
It should be a safe space where everyone is valued, everyone is welcome.
You can be yourself here!
It is honest.
That might mean you hear things that surprise or challenge you, that change your mind, that you disagree with, or that upset you.
If that happens at our services, there are always people from our leadership team available to speak with you if that is helpful.
It is creative.
Some parts of our service might be different each week. Our gatherings are spaces to explore and try new things. We engage with creative arts, poetry, storytelling, music, and art.
It is connected.
We aren’t just focused on our Sunday services. Our community is connected to the challenges and beauty of the world around us, to the other days of our week, to our work, and the causes that drive us.
It is historic.
We are rooted in the ancient space of our building and engage with the legacies of the past for our building and city.
It is holy ground.
Our services area space set aside to encounter God, whoever that may be to you, and whatever that may mean.
